Since finishing 1st out of 19 shooters at his first pistol match in September of 2001 he has never looked back. At present Robert is a 4-time National Champion (IDPA & USPSA).
Upon winning the 2008 USPSA Production National Championship he became the first and only full-time police officer to ever win a USPSA Handgun Nationals.

“I am 27 years old and have been a Police Officer for 6 years (a street cop working the road). I'm also on the department's SRT team.
I've been competing in IDPA/USPSA for almost 8 years now and I am a certified Range Officer in IDPA.
I am also my department’s firearms instructor and a certified OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy) firearms instructor in Pistol, Revolver, and Shotgun. This means I'm certified to teach CCW classes as well.
I've also been through the Ohio State Highway Patrol Basic SWAT/SRT School.
I've taught a half dozen USPSA/IDPA competition classes in the past 2 years.
Just recently I represented the United States at the IPSC World Shoot in Bali, Indonesia and currently, between IDPA & USPSA I'm a 4-time National Champion with over 30 major match wins (state or higher) and over 100 total match wins.”
